Request Your Ballot for the General Election Today

Governor Hogan announced that all Maryland residents will be mailed an absentee ballot REQUEST FORM. If you’d like the safety and convenience of mailing in your ballot, DON’T WAIT – REQUEST YOUR BALLOT TODAY! This will help lessen the last minute crush on the Board of Elections.

Here's how you can request a mail in ballot:

1. Online if you have a Maryland driver’s license or MVA-issued ID card. Click the following link to begin the request, even if you have already registered to vote:

2. Complete and return one of the forms below. Read the instructions, enter the required information, print the form, sign it, and return it to the Howard County Board of Elections. You can return it by mail or email (scanned as an attachment).
