Many thanks to the friends, family and colleagues who came out to Glory Days Grill last night to celebrate spring and support Friends of Courtney Watson. We had a full house and all communities of Howard County, as well as regions of Maryland, were represented. I was honored to be joined by County Executive Calvin Ball, Speaker Adrienne Jones, Chairman Dereck Davis, Senators Guy Guzzone, Katie Hester, Clarence Lam, Cory McCray and Delegates Talmadge Branch, Luke Clippinger, Kathleen Dumais, Eric Ebersole and Terri Hill, along with other elected officials, activists, advocates, and business leaders. I am particularly grateful to Glory Days Grill for hosting this annual event. The happy hour is over, but my fight in Annapolis persists: I will continue my work protecting women's rights, curbing gun violence and providing educational and health care equality in every zip code, while promoting a strong economy and addressing the effects of climate change. Thank you for believing in me. If you weren't able to join us, there's still time to support Friends of Courtney Watson. You can make a donation here or send a check payable to Friends of Courtney Watson, c/o Rice Consulting, 17 West Courtland Street, Suite 210 Bel Air, Maryland 21014. With your support, I'll keep working in Annapolis on critical issues that affect Howard County and Maryland.
