Wine, Women & Watson 2018!

Thanks to everyone who join​ed​ me ​last night for the 6th Annual Wine, Women & Watson!

​Thanks for uniting with me and other local women candidates during Women's History Month for a​ great​ evening of wine from The Wine Bin, lite fare from Tersiguel’s, and good conversation as we discuss​ed​ the importance of closing the gender gap in politics and how it shapes the future of Howard County.

Wine, Women & Watson is one of the most popular events I host each year, and one of my favorites. The energy and synergy among this large group of women ​was​ palpable, and exciting!

As ​we near the end of Women's History Month, I'm reminded by what ​Sally Yates said on March 8, International Women's Day, "Women all across America are finding their voices. This is more than just a moment. So stand up. Speak out. Be heard."

​Thanks for doing just that, and for all your support of my campaign for Maryland Delegate, District 9B.

As I said last night, women are no longer satisfied sitting on the sidelines of politics or in the back benches of our General Assembly. We are getting involved in races at every level, and 2018 is the year for all women to have our voices heard.
