Wherever Courtney goes in her political life I will be right there by her cheering her on. She did so much for Elkridge when she was our county council member. In the past month we have celebrated the opening of a new library and a new fire station. She got the ball rolling on those and was a champion for all of us here in Elkridge. I also love Courtney becasue she exemplifies shine theory, lifting up, supporting and helping other women who want to participate in the civic life of this county. I wholeheartedly endorse her for the House of Delegates in Annapolis. She has walked the walk and I know she will represent her constituents well. - Deeba Jafri
"As a woman who has spent my career advocating for women's rights, it is my pleasure to endorse Courtney on International Women's Day. I've never met someone who works harder than Courtney. She's a champion for all, and a special advocate for women. Before we became good friends I admired her work on the Howard County School Board and on the County Council. As a longtime women's advocate in Annapolis I can say without hesitation that Courtney's ideas, work ethic, and commitment to community will make her a great addition to the Maryland House of Delegates, serving District 9B." - Wendy Royalty, M.S.W., Former VP, Planned Parenthood of MD and Former Board Chair, NARAL Pro-Choice MD
"Ms. Courtney is one of the most inspiring women I have ever met. She is so kind and such an inspiration to young women like me. When I was at the 2018 Women's March in Baltimore I got to talk to her and have a conversation about women's issues. She was so understanding and did not talk down to me. She made me feel very respected - my opinion really mattered to her. I have known Ms. Courtney since I was little and every day I strive to be as determined and intelligent as she is. I really trust her and I know will do a lot to help Maryland." - Bryn Schwartz
Honored to have the endorsement of Herman Charity, a major contributor to justice in Howard County: "Courtney has proven herself a strong advocate for the community. She has demonstrated a healthy independence from political parties and works to bring all sides together to come up with creative solutions to problems. In my roles as youth coach, retired Howard County Police Lieutenant, and former County Executive Robey's chief aide, I have watched her in action and watched her get things done, and know she is the right choice in 2018 for State Delegate District 9B."
- Herman Charity
Howard County's First African-American Police Officer
"I support Courtney because of her commitment to the community and her genuine concern for people. Courtney worked with me and others to bring more attention to the issue of human trafficking in Howard County. She passed a resolution to create a task force that made several key recommendations that have now been implemented to help agencies work together on the issue. Courtney works for all of us, all of the time." - Tahira Hussain
"Courtney is someone who gets things done for the community. Her experience on the school board and in local government as a councilwoman will serve her well in looking out for our interests in Annapolis. She is a woman of action, who we can always count on, and that's why I am supporting her for Delegate in District 9B." - Bessie Bordenave
"Courtney is a smart, strong, thoughtful, energetic, inclusive, and effective leader in our community. As a member of the Howard County School Board and County Councilperson, Courtney has put years of experience to work in solving problems with a proven, practical, bi-partisan approach. She is ready to take action and forge a path of progress for our County and our State. I fully support my friend Courtney for MD State Delegate representing District 9B." - Buffy Beaudoin-Schwartz
